At just 10 months old, Charleigh’s life changed in a way no family ever expects.

She was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) — a rare disease that affects only about 1 in 200,000 children. Charleigh’s case was especially complex: high-risk, multisystem LCH with risk-organ involvement and a BRAF+ mutation.

LCH was found in her skull, jaw, spine, liver, lungs, spleen, bone marrow, and multiple other bones. Almost immediately, Charleigh began chemotherapy — stepping into a fight no baby should ever have to face.

After 15 rounds of her first chemotherapy treatment, scans showed progression, with three new spots appearing. The news was devastating, but Charleigh wasn’t done fighting. Her medical team moved her to a more aggressive treatment plan — and once again, she showed the world just how mighty she is.

After six cycles, Charleigh reached a powerful milestone: no active disease.

She has now completed her final round of chemotherapy (for now), and her family is waiting for follow-up scans in February. If those scans are clear, this chapter of treatment will come to a close.

While LCH carries a high risk of relapse, Charleigh’s family is holding onto faith, hope, and trust — believing that she will continue to be okay.

Charleigh’s journey is one of courage, resilience, and quiet strength. She reminds us that even the smallest fighters can carry the biggest bravery.

Charleigh’s strength shines far beyond her diagnosis.

Despite facing countless challenges — including three fractures from brittle bones, ongoing dental issues, and multiple hospital stays due to fevers — Charleigh continues to meet each day with incredible resilience.

Through it all, she carries something truly special: a bright smile and a courageous spirit that never fades.

She handles every obstacle with grace far beyond her years, inspiring everyone who has the privilege of knowing her. Even on the hardest days, Charleigh reminds us that bravery doesn’t always roar — sometimes it smiles.

Her courage, determination, and joy are a powerful testament to her strength. And behind her every step of the way is a mom filled with pride, love, and unwavering admiration.
