Remington Mighty Story
In June 2025, at just two years old, Remi was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia — a life-altering moment that instantly changed everything for his family. Shortly after hearing the words no parent is ever prepared for, Remi turned three years old, celebrating his birthday not with carefree play, but surrounded by treatment plans, hospital rooms, and uncertainty.
Since his diagnosis, Remi has undergone intensive chemotherapy and continues to receive ongoing care through his pediatric oncology team at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio — nearly a three-hour drive each way from home. The road trips, the long hospital days, and the physical toll of treatment have quickly become part of his everyday life.
Remi’s mom is a single mother, and he is fully in her care. She carries the weight of appointments, travel, medications, and the emotional strength required to remain his steady source of comfort and security. Every mile traveled and every hospital stay is managed with unwavering love and determination.
And through it all, Remi continues to shine.
Despite his young age, he meets each challenge with remarkable bravery. His resilience, quiet strength, and determined spirit inspire everyone who has the privilege of meeting him. He reminds us what it truly means to be Mighty.
As Remi continues this difficult journey, his mom remains faithfully by his side — standing beside him through every appointment, every long drive, and every step forward. 💛
What Makes Remi Mighty 💛🎗️
Remi is mighty because of the strength and resilience he shows at just three years old. Despite everything his little body has endured, he continues to reach important milestones during treatment — growing, learning, and pushing forward in ways that inspire everyone around him. He takes his medicine like a pro, showing bravery and adaptability far beyond his years.
Even in the middle of long hospital days, Remi carries a joyful spirit that refuses to be dimmed. He knows they’ve arrived at the hospital when he spots the red cranes working on the new addition — a familiar sight that has become part of his journey. And in true Remi fashion, he doesn’t just see nurses and doctors — he sees friends. He loves his nurses so much and proudly calls them exactly that.
His courage. His joy. His ability to keep moving forward with a smile.
That’s what makes Remi truly Mighty. 💛
